ican IT Centre
The ican IT centre is located at the base of the CAN Centre
at 180 Palmerston Street. It offers a free internet café
four days per week, from Monday to Thursday. Volunteer
tutors are available to work one to one with people wanting
to learn use a computer.
Timetable
Monday 4pm – 6pm – Free internet access with
assistance if required
Tuesday 10am-12pm – free internet access with assistance
if required
Tuesday 4pm-6pm – free internet access and one-to-one
computer tutoring
Wednesday 10am – 12pm – free internet access
with assistance if required
Thursday 10am – 12pm, free internet access with
assistance if required
Thursday 4pm – 6pm, free internet access and technical
advice and support
Bookings
Bookings can be made either in person by attending the
icanIT centre or by telephoning 0412 865 840 . Generally
bookings are made for one hour. One computer will be
kept for short visits eg. Checking emails, maximum half
hour.
