As part of this nation wide event the System Garden at the University of Melbourne’s Parkville campus will be open to the public from 9am- 3pm and include tours and presentations as part of the day.
The System Garden is rarely open to the public on weekends, and as part of this we will be conducting tours of the garden as well as having presentations from our the resident System Garden beekeeper.
On the day we will be discussing the gardens 160 year history including what the future holds, and there will also be the opportunity to learn about bees, their role, biology and diseases affecting bees.
