Please tell us a little bit about yourself, and you’re your experiences here at CNLC and around the community.
I have been at CNLC for about 2 years. It has been a very good opportunity for me, making friends and having teachers talk to you about something helps improve my English speaking. So much learning is [happening] about CNLC. Painting; gardening; drawing; cooking, yeah! And I’m learning about volunteering, it is a very good opportunity and I’m enjoying it.
So you have done some planting and artwork?
Yes, one time. And in the garden we have a project. But not too many times because every day I am doing English, spoken and learning, it is very good to get knowledge from repeating use [of words], so many things. In Australia there are so many laws and government, any knowledge you can get is a good opportunity.
Maybe to stay home it’s very boring and very lazy, but every day I get up and go to CNLC and I [become] a very strong person and I get positive thinking.
You live quite close?
Yes. I live in North Melbourne; my kids go to school nearby there. It’s very easy to get here. I drive here, just 10 mins and get good parking.
Anything else you would like to share about CNLC or the Carlton community?
This area, it is very popular; too many people are coming in here. So I am thinking of moving somewhere else a bit bigger. With some more land, one day.
